BIO

Cassandra is a critically acclaimed pianist, vocalist and musical director.  As a pianist and cabaret artist she has performed throughout Boston and the country, including such venues as: The Napoleon Club, Dedo’s, Club Café, The French Library, The Duplex, The Majestic Theatre, Club Passim’s, North Shore Music Theatre and Tin Pan Alley and the Inn at Crystal Lake.  She received her BFA from Ithaca College with additional studies at The Royal Conservatory , Toronto, The Longy School of Music and The American Music Center.  She has musically directed over 70 shows both regionally and professionally, including the 1st National Tour of Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding. 

Cassandra has served as assistant Music Director at the North Shore Music Theatre.  As an educator Ms. Marsh has taught at The Merrimac Repertory Theatre, The Middlesex Summer School for The Arts, Winthrop School of Performing Arts and The North Shore Music Theatre. Cassandra is an experienced church musician and recently served as the Minister of Music for 14 years at the First Church of Winthrop United Methodist. Currently, she is an accompanist at the Boston Conservatory. Cassandra also teaches piano, voice and theory privately. Her students have gone on to such schools as: New York University, Boston Conservatory, Ithaca College, Berklee School of Music and Hartt School of Music.

 

Cassandra has written and produced three one-woman shows and is currently working on her latest installment, The Unashamed Accompanist. She also composed and wrote the book for Alice, a musical adaptation of the Lewis Carroll story and composed the music for Le Cabaret Grimm, which ran at the BCA in Boston and in NYC at the NYMF Festival. 

Her current musical is Little King~The Orange Years~ A Musical Satire.  The show played at Green Room 42 in February of 2020 before the world shut down with Covid-19. During the shut down the show was adapted into a 13-episode video series on YouTube.

Most recently, Little King played for 4 performances at Under St. Mark’s in NYC-January 2025. It will be remounted in the coming months in NYC. Stay tuned.
